Big news from The Old Jail
We have now submitted our planning and listed building applications for The Old Jail, and we could not be more excited about it.
Anyone who knows the pub will know it's in a pretty poor way, and it has been crying out for some love for some years. Our plans are all about giving it the future it deserves. We have great plans for the garden, we want to build a new kitchen, and as part of it all there will be a bakery too.
As with all our pubs, it's about home-cooked, exciting food, great ales and some very quaffable wines. If you want a feel for what we do, have a look at the rest of our family of pubs at www.whpubs.co.uk
We believe this will be a massive benefit to the whole of and the surrounding area. It means investment in a much-loved historic building, more local jobs, and a great place for the community to eat, drink and get together for years to come.
Now we need your help, and quickly. The deadline for comments is Friday 16 October. If you would like to see this happen, please take two minutes to support the applications. Every comment counts.
