Greetings Wildlings! 👋✨

What a way to end last week—we finished on such an absolute high!

A massive thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, and made it so incredibly special.

We’ve also been busy behind the scenes, and today we were in the cafe serving up goodies and finally finishing off our new wall stickers!

We can’t wait for you to see how the space looks.There’s no resting on our laurels though, because this week ahead is looking super busy!

Thursday: Welcoming the lovely Little Wildlings group for a fun day of decorating cupcakes in collaboration with KyAnn Mental Health & Wellbeing !☕

Friday: Supporting the Macmillan Coffee Morning. In collaboration with Garfield's life is sweet 💜 We are bringing a true showstopper cake for this one—just you wait and see!🎪

Saturday: Family Day at the market! Bring the whole crew down for some delicious treats.⚓

Sunday: Rounding off the week at the Salvage Fair 🎂

My sleeves are officially rolled up and I’ll be heading straight into the kitchen tomorrow to get baking and prep some showstoppers for you all. I'll be bringing cookies, cakes, biscuits and obviously some yummy specials!

Wow wow wow wow wow… 😱✨

When I tell you these are absolutely delicious, it is a massive understatement! Not that I don’t want to sit and eat about 6 of them right now just before bed… 🤤👀

Sometimes I look at what comes out of the kitchen and think, "Did I actually just make these?!" Is it Insta-worthy? These definitely are! The photos honestly don’t do these beautiful rolls the justice they deserve. 📸🔥

These beauties will be available over the weekend or until they sell out—and trust me, last time they were completely gone by lunchtime! Get in early so you don't miss out. ⏰🏃‍♂️

🌸🧁 Little Wildlings, this one is for you! 🧁🌸

We’re getting our little bakers ready for a very special cupcake decorating morning! 💜

As part of our Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning organised by Garfield's life is sweet , we’ll be getting creative with our little wildlings and showing them how to decorate their very own cupcakes. 🎂✨

There will be a full demonstration, lots of colourful decorations and, most importantly, plenty of fun! 🥰

🌙 Evening wildlings! 🌙

Well… WHAT. A. WEEK. 😂

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure whether I’m running a cake business or participating in some sort of extreme baking endurance challenge! 🤣

A massive THANK YOU for all your ongoing support, orders, visits, messages and love. 💜 You lovely lot keep me ridiculously busy — and I wouldn't have it any other way! 🥰

I am almost caught up on the baking… although there are currently tray after tray after tray coming out of the kitchen. 🍰🧁🎂

At this point, I’m pretty sure my oven has filed for overtime. 😂

📍 Today, Thursday, Friday & Saturday you’ll find us at The Temptation Station in Tiverton Pannier Market , serving up coffee, breakfast, toasties, pastries, cakes and all sorts of homemade goodies.

💜 Thursday is our lovely Wildlings group with KyAnn Mental Health & Wellbeing , so we’ll be filling the cafe with our little wildlings, their grown-ups and hopefully plenty of smiles!

Then because apparently I don't believe in the concept of REST…

🎨 Tomorrow — Wednesday — I’m swapping my cake scraper for a paintbrush!

Yes, you read that correctly.

Your local cake lady is attempting to put her painting and decorating skills to the test and give the cafe a little makeover. 😂

Will it look fabulous?
Probably.

Will I get paint on myself?
Absolutely.

Will I somehow manage to get paint on something that wasn't even remotely near me?
Almost certainly. 🤣

Wish me luck, wildlings… I’m going in! 🎨😂

And because I clearly haven't learned my lesson, Sunday we’re off to Landmark Engagement ! 🐴

So if you see me looking slightly wild-eyed over the next few days… just hand me a coffee and point me towards the cake. ☕😂

Had an absolute storm of baking today! We’ve got some delicious new flavours of biscotti coming your way, as well as brand-new vegan biscuits. AND... we are finally restocking on our chocolate-covered shortbread! 🍫🙌 Sorry that took a minute, you lot cleaned us out!

Honestly, thank you so much for your ongoing support. Life is just a blast right now and I am so incredibly grateful for all of you! 💖🎂

🌸 Happy Sunday, you lovely lot! 🌸

I hope you’re all having a fabulous day! ❤️

Since I’m actually sitting down for approximately two whole minutes 😂, I thought I’d share a little fun fact about me!

👩‍🍳 I have never, in my entire life, followed a recipe or measured anything with absolute precision! 🤣

No fancy scales… no perfectly measured teaspoons… no following a recipe word for word.

I have my trusty mug that I’ve been using for years. ☕️ I know exactly how much goes in because… well, it’s my mug! 😂

And when it comes to flavourings? I measure those by heart. ❤️

A little bit of this… a splash of that… and somehow it all just works! ✨

And absolutely everything is stirred, mixed, baked and created with LOADS and LOADS of love! 🥰

Maybe that’s the secret ingredient after all. ❤️

So there you have it, wildlings… behind all those cakes and bakes is a woman with a mug, a good instinct and absolutely no interest in measuring things properly! 😂

🌿 Greetings, wildlings! 🌿

What a day. What a week. What a MONTH this has been! 🥹❤️

I honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come and just how many limits I’ve pushed myself through. Who knew I had all this baking in me?! 😂🎂

Every single bit of feedback you’ve given us — whether positive, constructive, encouraging or simply telling us how much you’ve enjoyed something — has meant the absolute world. ❤️

And wherever we go, we seem to make friends. I am forever grateful for every single one of you who has supported us, encouraged us, visited us, bought something, shared a post, left feedback or simply stopped for a chat. You really do make this crazy little adventure so very special. 🥰

✨ What a way to send Bullring Bites off for the season! ✨

Cullompton Town Council certainly knows how to finish a fantastic series of events in style! What an amazing summer it has been. Cullompton, you have been absolutely fabulous and thank you for making me feel so welcomed. ❤️

And then there was today! 🌈

We sent summer off with our fabulous Festival for Little Wildlings and, despite the weather doing its very best to put us off, YOU came out in force to support KyAnn Mental Health & Wellbeing and us here at the cafe. 🥹❤️

Paula and her family have been absolutely unbelievable, getting stuck in, braving the weather and making sure all those little humans had the best time. Thank you for being absolutely amazing! 🥰

And we gave out 20 completely FREE lunches today! 🍽️❤️

Apparently, the words “delicious” and “yummy” were used… so I think we can safely call that a success! 😂🙌

A huge thank you to every single person who came along and supported us today. Your kindness and support mean more than you know.

Now, we’re finally down-tooling a little bit! 😂
