Hi Folks...

We have the best customers in the world! Reading your responses from my last post has been very heartwarming...thank you everyone for being so kind.

Since we are into our final month...let's push the boat out and live a little...we're opening up on Weds from next week!

This will give us a few more days to see you lovely people and also enables us to use up the last bits of stock we have left.

We will try to stick to the menu as much as possible and provide you all with your usual favourites like chicken chow mein, curries etc, but please understand in some instances, more selective dishes may not be available.

We're open on Wednesday 4th December folks ..COME ON DOWN!

Ok..i've tried putting off posting this for awhile and getting emotional, shaking hands and all as I type.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that after 30 years and 4 months, Tividale Chef , our lovely business is closing. Our last trading day will be 31st December 2024.

A combination of factors, high running costs, poor sales, no staff but mostly poor health have prompted us to make this decision. We both, especially Chef Hubby has really suffered in recent years and he'll need complete rest so there's no chance of a come back. Children have their own jobs and can no longer commit to our family business, which is fair...they've been golden all these years, especially our Olivia.

Some of you will already know as I've been telling old customers of 20-30 years the sad news and the response hasn't been great and I'd imagine the response to this post will be the same. The guilt I feel is real. I hate thinking of you all phoning up and not be able to order your meals. You are more than customers to me, many of you are good friends. I'll miss you all terribly.

All that remains for us to say is , thank you all so much for your support over the last 30 years and hope you manage to find a good Chinese Takeaway to order your meals from in the future...and I'd like to take this last chance to wish all our dear customers a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. 🥂🎄🎉

Hi Folks, unfortunately prices continue to escalate despite news of 'inflation' being under control ( or so they keep telling us )
It is increasingly difficult to maintain our business at the current prices and so we regret to inform that from week starting Monday 3rd June, prices will be increased by 10% on all food orders & the delivery charge will be increased by 20p to £2. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Folks, we have decided to take another day off as my other half (aka the chef) is going through a bad patch healthwise. It's very exhausting bringing our lovely meals to your tables and unfortunately I've developed a few aches and pains myself. So we feel something has to give.

From today, Weds 3rd April 2024 we will closed 3 days a week and will only operate a 4 day opening schedule (Thursday-Sunday) until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to see you all very soon.
