CLOSED MONDAY 15th.
We want to say a sincere apology to all our customers. It has got very unprofessional. We were away from the cafe for couple weeks and left it in the care of our Manager, but unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan while we were gone.
We came back to find the situation had become very difficult. Now that we’re back, we’re working hard to get everything back in order. Tomorrow we’ll be closing to give the cafe a thorough deep clean and organised correctly to bring it back up to our standards.
We are currently very short staffed literally just down to us, which is completely understandable given what’s happened. We’ve seen some comments and opinions shared online, and it hurts to think that The Northern Plate’s reputation might be affected. We are only 3 months old, and we have put so much time, hard work and love into building this place, it means everything to our family, so this is very disheartening.
We always make sure every member of staff is treated with respect and kindness, and we ask for a little patience and understanding as we rebuild our team and settle back into our routine. We’re still finding our feet as a new business, and we’re doing everything we can to get back to serving you the way you deserve.
We’ll be back open as soon as we’re ready, and we can’t wait to welcome you all again properly. Thank you so much for sticking with us.
