🦁 A message from Safari Rock 🦁
As many of you know, back in March we had to make the very difficult decision to close the doors of Safari Rock due to my health. This week, we officially handed the keys back.
We wanted to take a moment to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has been part of our Safari Rock journey. To our wonderful customers and families who trusted us with their little ones, to our amazing staff who helped make Safari Rock such a special place, and to the team at St Mary’s, who have shown such care and kindness — we are truly grateful. We would also like to thank our landlords, who have been incredibly understanding and supportive during what has been a very challenging time for us.
On a personal note, I wanted to share a small health update. I’m living with a complex neurological condition, and while there is no cure, I have recently received some hospital treatment which we are hopeful may help manage some of my symptoms. It’s a journey we’re taking one step at a time.
Although Safari Rock has closed its doors, this isn’t goodbye. Jesse will still be around with the Thornbury Tuk Tuk from time to time, and we hope to keep in touch with our lovely regulars whenever we can.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the memories, the support, and the kindness you’ve shown us over the years.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
🎄🎅
With love,
Aimee, Jesse & the Safari Rock family 💛
