So earlier today we were hit with a 1 star review for apparently using AI for our images of the food we serve. So let's set the record straight, all of our food images are taken by us and very rarely edited or filtered.

Reviews such as this cause Google and other algorithms to stop pushing us, which impacts us by stopping people from finding us. Maybe Jamie is aware of this.

So please, if you have visited us and had a good experience, please leave us a review on Google (Search or Maps) and help us, we work hard to deliver good affordable food for the people of Thornaby.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers new and old who have stepped foot in the cafe this week and to those who share and comment on our social media pages. Its been an exceptionally busy week and a rather tough one for staff who have worked hard and had to deal with their fifth heatwave. Today the machines give up but we didnt and we managed to pull through to the end. We are going to rest (and deep clean) tomorrow ready for a new week on Monday. We look forward to welcoming you all back soon.
