It's Sunday, which means Doug's Famous Sunday Carvery is back!

🕛 Carvery Served: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
🍺 Bar Open: 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Whether you're joining us for a delicious homemade carvery, calling in for a relaxing pint, or just fancy a chat with our friendly team, we'd love to see you.

This Friday is set to be one of our biggest days of the year at The Old Red House, Thirsk!

Since reopening under new management, we at the Old Red House are overcome by the amount of positive feedback we have had. This is why we do it, to put a smile on your face and for you to have a lovely dining experience. 😌

🎉 FUN DAY AFTER THIRSK RACES – FRIDAY 7TH AUGUST! 🎉

Join us at The Old Red House, Thirsk after the races for an afternoon and evening packed with fun for the whole family!

Free Attractions
Giant Disco Bouncy Castle
Soft Play Area (for toddlers and young children only)
Both of these will be available from 11am- 9pm

Adult Rodeo Bull
£5 per ride
Prize for the person who stays on the longest (A hamper full of goodies, this can only be given to someone over the age of 18).
The rodeo bull will be fully supervised by a trained operator.
This will only be on from 6pm-9pm
These attractions will be provided by Fun4Hire.

Important Information

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while using the bouncy castle and soft play equipment.
No food or drinks are permitted on any of the attractions.
Please use all equipment responsibly and follow any instructions given by staff.
CCTV will be in operation throughout the attraction areas for the safety and security of all guests. Anyone found deliberately damaging equipment will be held responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacement.

In our outdoor play area we also have: Footballs & Football Goals, Ride-On Toy and a Children's Sand Pit. It's the perfect place for families to spend quality time together, with plenty of space for children to play and burn off some energy.
Whether you're bringing the family or fancy taking on the rodeo bull yourself, there's something for everyone!

🌟 Meet the Team – Welcome, Rueben! 🌟
We are delighted to introduce Rueben, one of the newest member of our team.

Outside of work, Rueben enjoys surfing at Saltburn and has a real passion for music. He is an accomplished musician, playing both the trombone and the piano. One of his proudest achievements is performing on the trombone in front of an audience of over 4,000 people in Italy.
A fun fact about Rueben is that he's often told he bears a resemblance to Slim Shady, something that always sparks a laugh amongst the staff!

We are thrilled to have Rueben join the Old Red House Family and look forward to the enthusiasm, skills and positivity he will bring to the team.
