Truly Scrumptious is back with a pop up vintage tea shop with lovely home made cakes and bakes find us at Kirby Wiske village hall every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.30 am until 4ish, also look out for our beautiful Afternoon tea's coming soon.

Just a few of bakes today, some have already half gone, lots of gluten free to choose from too. Gf Chocolate chip cake , gf giant plum jam tart, gf and normal spiced apple slice, gf white chocolate blondie, gf fapjack, cherry ripple cake, lemon drizzle cake, normal cherry scones and cheese scones, gf and normal sausage rolls, gf cheese and onion quiche, a lovely selection of sandwiches. Come and try us for a cake away or call and sit a while and enjoy a pot of tea and a lovely slice of cake. Kirby Wiske village hall YO74ER Wednesday Thursday and Fridays 10.30 until 4ish.

MAYBE TOMORROW. When we have a quiet spell and its a bit slow, I'll sit outside in the shadow of Kirby Wiske's lovely old church st John the Baptist, and listen to the crows coming and going in the old church tower, the pigeons are cooing at one another, and the distant hum of the train on the main line from London to Edinburgh wafting on the breeze. A car goes past about there business I get a friendly wave, I here traffic on the main road and hope that someone reads my sign and just fancies a coffee and piece of cake....maybe tomorrow.
