In Loving Memory of Maria ❤️

With great sadness, we remember our beloved Maria. She was a former colleague here at Cheers, where she was dearly loved and an important part of our family. She later left us to pursue her career at the university, and we couldn’t have been prouder of her achievements and the path she chose.

Maria was truly unique — a wonderful young lady with a strong mind and a determined spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. She didn’t just live life; she lived every moment with such intensity and passion, giving her all to everything she did. During her time with us, she brought so much joy, kindness, and warmth to everyone around her. She had a wonderful laugh, a heart always ready to help. We will always treasure the happy memories, the long chats, and the laughter we shared together.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of courage, love, and determination. Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful to have known her and to have had her as part of our team and our family. She has left a space that can never be filled, but her spirit, her energy, and her love will stay with us forever.

Rest peacefully, dear Maria. You will never be forgotten. You will be missed more than words can say, but you will live on in every memory, every smile, and every moment we share together.

You know the best bit isn't even the food. 🔥

It's that moment the stone arrives and the whole table leans in. Tongs ready. Sangria topped up. Everyone pretending they're not going to eat as much as last time.

Then the steak goes on. Then the plate gets loaded. Then someone asks for more chips and suddenly it's two hours later and you're wondering how you're going to move.

Every single time. And you love it. Okay, so maybe it is the food 😉

Chicken wings to start. Steak on the stone — eat as much as you like. Grilled fish if you fancy something different. Sangria that keeps coming. And that moment halfway through where you look at the table and realise there's not a single empty plate because you've already loaded up again.
