Just a quick update on how we are doing at the Tea Rooms.
As you know, we’ve been doing a lot of maintenance to the building and it’s all going well, just the last room which is being decorated, it’s been so long overdue.
We have lived here since 2004 and sometimes you need to take time out to look after your own private quarters, which is upstairs as well as keeping downstairs up-to-date and clean of course.
We did give ourselves a date to reopen but unforeseen things needed attention which has caused some delay.
We have had a few enquiries reference to us selling it, which is reassuring in such economic times, so that gives us food for thought. Whatever we decide to do, it will always be a Tea Room, as it’s a fantastic asset to Tewkesbury. But now, please bear with us we’ve still got a little way to go, before we feel it’s all been updated and up to our high standards.
Ian‘s been doing it in slow time for most of you know he wasn’t well a few years ago, but to be honest, he’s done a fantastic job.
The gardens look lovely with all the bedding plants now planted. Ian is now put the paintbrushes down and enjoying a nice glass of red in the garden (don’t tell his Cardiologist ). So thank you to all our loyal customers and hopefully new customers for your patience.
