🌒🍺 Come and watch the Solar Eclipse at The Crown Inn! 🍺🌒

Fancy witnessing something a little different this evening? Join us at The Crown Inn for a drink and enjoy the solar eclipse from our fantastic seating area out front — the perfect spot to sit back, relax and take in the spectacle!

🌑 First contact is expected around 6:17pm, so we recommend coming early to grab a table and get yourself settled before the eclipse begins.

🇹🇭 And that's not all…

Phanthong Thai will be serving their delicious Thai cuisine from 5:30pm, so why not make an evening of it? Enjoy some fantastic Thai food, a cold drink and watch the eclipse unfold from the comfort of our front seating area.

They will be serving their delicious Thai cuisine at The Crown on Wedneadays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 5.30pm (last orders 10pm). Pop in or call 01386 725020 to book a table or order a takeaway.

🌞 Lakefest week is upon us... 🍻

As another fantastic Lakefest weekend arrives, we'd love to see you at The Crown Inn if you're not heading to the festival!

We'll be open for drinks only throughout the week, so whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet pint, or soaking up the atmosphere, pop in and join us.

Our Lakefest opening hours are:

🍺 Wednesday 5th August
12 noon – 11.30pm (Last orders 11.20pm)

🍺 Thursday 6th August
12 noon – 11.30pm (Last orders 11.20pm)

🍺 Friday 7th August
12 noon – 11.30pm (Last orders 11.20pm)

🍺 Saturday 8th August
12 noon – 11.30pm (Last orders 11.20pm)

Please note: We may close early on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday if it's really quiet at the pub.

🌶️ A little update from The Crown Inn...

Firstly, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Phanthong Thai at The Crown. The first few weeks have gone brilliantly, and the feedback for Amy's delicious Thai cuisine has been absolutely outstanding. We really appreciate everyone who's come along to support this fantastic new partnership!

Next week, Amy and the fantastic team from Phanthong Thai will be away serving their delicious cuisine at Lakefest with their pop-up.

As a result, The Crown will not be serving food next week.

If you're heading to Lakefest, be sure to stop by the Phanthong Thai pop-up and treat yourself to some of their amazing dishes – you won't be disappointed! 🇹🇭🍜

We're looking forward to welcoming Amy and the team back to The Crown from Wednesday 12th August, when their delicious Thai menu will once again be available.
