What’s on in October? 🗓️ Part 1

On the 2nd & 3rd we will be back at Codsall Beer Festival providing the food to go alongside the huge selection of great beers ( & awesome live music )

We’ll have Pork baps & Nachos as well as other tasty bits to soak up the 🍺 #

The week after is British Curry Week 🥘🍛
We are still finalising our offer but it will run from Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th to get your weekend covered
And include delicious Starters / Sides and Mains made by our team of Butchers & Chefs! Deffo one to pop in for!

🌭 Let’s talk Sausages! 🌭

I guess the one thing to demand when shopping at your local butcher is properly made, quality sausages, made in house using top quality local meat. 🐖

If your local butcher isn’t making sausages maybe it’s time to start asking some questions… 🤔

Our homemade sausages have always been a staple and best seller of ours with recognition often achieved from entering competitions. 🏅

🏆 Last year our breakfast sausage won best sausage at the awards and with the amount we sell I can see why! 🏆

Here is our butchery manager, Ashley making Cumberland sausage and talking a little about his experience working with us over the past 10 years.

Today marks a year since we opened a bigger, better space for our 121 year old family business ( No pressure).

As we are right now, we feel is the strongest, best way forward for us as a business to keep doing what we do and what you all love.

Although controversially there is still a place in our hearts for a restaurant/ cafe offering but just not right now.
We loved what we had for 7 years as a little bistro but sometimes you have to change things to make progress.

I thank you all for your support in helping us define ourselves past 12 months to get where we are today.
We are most definitely now ‘More than a butchers’ so if it’s been a while since you popped in we’d love to see you!

Over the next few months we will be introducing you to more of our team, products, processes and going behind the scenes of our 4th generation family business.

We said hi to Billie in the last video and here I am with a little about me and the changes we’ve made in the past 12 months.

As always we thank all our customers for their ongoing support for our small business. We love seeing the same people returning week in week out and of course new customers visiting us and trusting us to keep you all fed with our great products!

Introducing Billie 🙋‍♀️

Billie has come to work alongside our butchers, Ash & Oli! 🔪

She’s a great addition to the team and will be ready to greet you with a smile and ensure you get everything you need from the counter!

Make sure you say hi next time you are in!

⭐️📣 Congratulations to Ollie our newly qualified butcher! 📣⭐️

After approaching us himself at 15 expressing his interest in becoming a butcher he joined us fresh from school. He has now completed his apprenticeship over the past two years with Crosby training whilst working full time.

Now a qualified butcher and key member of our team please join us in congratulating him on here or in person if you are in the shop!

Well done Ollie, the hard work starts now! 🥩🍾🍻🔪🪓🥩
