September is definitely reminding us that autumn is on its way… 🍂

This morning was grey, cloudy and overcast, and after what feels like a whole week of rain, we walked out of the market ..with oily face..smell of curry 🤣🫢..onions..🤪..and weren’t expecting this… blue skies and sunshine over Tenby! ☀️💙

There’s already that little autumn feeling in the air, but it’s still beautifully warm. Seeing the sunshine again instantly lifted my mood and made everything feel calm and peaceful.

Tenby, you’ve done your magic again… 🌊✨

Trying to teach Rich a bit of Sabahan Bahasa…

I said “cepat kau!”
And all he heard was “cepat COW” 🐄🤣

Next thing I know he’s telling me, “You cepat cow!” 😭🤣

I think Bahasa lessons with Rich might take a while… 😂

And just like that… September is here! 🍂

What a summer it’s been in Tenby! Busy days, lots of sunshine, lots of cooking and so many lovely faces through our little kitchen. And of course to our lovely regular customers…thank you ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited us, came back again and again, recommended us to friends and family, shared our posts and supported our little small business throughout the summer. ❤️ We really do appreciate every single one of you.

Now the kids are back to school and summer is officially over… HELLO SEPTEMBER! 😍

A new month, a new chapter… and we’ve got some exciting things coming up. 👀✨

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan & Happy Sabah Day ❤️

On 31 August 1963, Sabah gained self-government from British colonial rule — and just 16 days later, on 16 September, Sabah joined Malaya, Sarawak and Singapore to form Malaysia.

So today is a special day for us Sabahans. It’s a day to remember our history, our identity, our culture and where we came from.

I may have lived in Wales for many years now, but Sabah will always be home in my heart. 🌺

I’m proud of our beautiful land, our many cultures and traditions, our food, our languages and, most of all, our people.

No matter where in the world we live, we carry a little piece of Sabah with us.

Happy Sabah Day to all Sabahans. ❤️

Bore da! Selamat pagi! Good morning! It’s bank holiday Monday. It’s last day of Summer holiday. And it’s also Malaysia 🇲🇾 69th Independence Day!! Double celebration. In conjunction with Independence Day 🇲🇾 Roti Canai is on special today. Happy Independence Day to all our Malaysian 🇲🇾 friends wherever you are in the world 🌍.

So grateful for this rain 🌧️ although we love to chill out in the beach but the earth needed the rain after months of no rain. We closed today. Rest is the most needed we need today and start again tomorrow. See you all tomorrow and have a wonderful weekend x

People said I was wasting time chopping fresh ingredients every single day.

But the truth is, I’m passionate about cooking everything fresh. No shortcuts. I just want my food to taste like home — the way we cook it back home. ❤️

Bringing authentic Malaysian food to Tenby, Pembrokeshire, has always been my dream.

From someone who once couldn’t cook… to now feeding so many people for nearly 9 years. 🥹

Sometimes I look back and think… how did I even get here?

But I know one thing — I never stopped learning, cooking and believing in what I wanted to create.
