Here at The Mooring, we have a passion for lip-smacking, going-back-for-seconds, seasonal food. We make the most of the fish & fare on our Pembrokeshire doorstep. And we don’t pay through the nose for produce that’s not in abundance, which means our customers don't have to either. We perfect classic dishes and source tasty combinations, all seasonal and all freshly made.

We’d like to extend a genuine and heartfelt thank you to all of the customers and staff who made The Mooring what it was for 8 glorious years, but for those of you who don’t yet know, we have closed the doors for the last time.

Goodbye old gal 👋. Thanks for teaching us so much about ourselves, for helping us to grow and for giving us something to be truly proud of. For being our first business, our first baby.

We are over the moon that our brilliant friends Rhi and Jody from Cŵlbox will be the new custodians of 15 High Street. We know that their amazing concept Umi Tenby will be a gigantic success - it’s fresh and exciting and just what Tenby needs.

You’ll now find both Tom and I down at Loafley Bakery & Deli Co., which over the last 12 months has gone from strength to strength. We have plenty to keep us busy and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Come and pay us a visit there, we’d love to see you!

Thanks again for all the laughs and for all the memories, we’ll always treasure them.

Hello all 👋, we have a little update for you about Christmas at The Mooring this year. Sadly COVID-19 seems to be taking hold in Pembrokeshire, and over the past few days our team has found itself subject to a handful of NHS Track & Trace isolation requests (although no positive tests so please don’t panic). As a result we have made the difficult decision to minimise the risk and also the stress of a much increased workload on our remaining staff and close The Mooring for the rest of December. This Sunday the 13th will be our last day 😔. will continue as we believe we can do so safely and with a small team. It’s sad news, but hopefully it’ll allow our staff to ease themselves gently into Christmas - usually a pretty frenetic time for those of us in hospitality - and to be able to make more meaningful plans with their families without work getting in the way. We haven’t settled on a date for reopening yet, there are lots of rumours about a January lock down anyway so we’ll keep our ears open on that front before making any decisions on a specific date. We hope you understand our thinking and wish you a wonderful, healthy Christmas and New Year with your loved ones 😘😘 xx

🌿To our wonderful customers, we are delighted to confirm that we will be reopening our doors from Monday 9th. Initially we’ll be open for breakfast and lunch from 8.30am, 7 days a week, and for evenings from 6pm on Friday and Saturday while we gauge demand. The phones are not manned at the moment, so if you’d like to book, please contact us through Facebook or Instagram and we’ll get back to you to confirm a time. If you’ve already messaged to enquire about a booking we’ll be in touch very soon.
