Wow… over 300 applications! 😳

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the response to our recent job post. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to apply and show an interest in joining the Brick & Beyond team. 🧱❤️

Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of applications, we won’t be able to reply to everyone individually, and we’re really sorry about that.

📣 WE’RE HIRING! 📣

Well… you lot have certainly been keeping us busy! 😂 And with summer well and truly underway, we need some extra hands to join the Brick & Beyond team!

We’re looking for part-time seasonal staff to help us through our busy summer period.

We’re looking for someone who is:
☕ Friendly, confident and great with customers
🥪 Happy to get stuck in with café duties
🧱 Comfortable working in a busy, fun environment
🧹 Reliable, hardworking and not afraid to help wherever needed
📅 Flexible and available to work weekdays and weekends throughout the summer

Experience is great, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is just as important to us!

🪂 ONE LAST PLEA FROM THE SLIGHTLY CRAZY WOMAN BEHIND BRICK & BEYOND! 😂🪂

As if opening Brick & Beyond and working approximately 97 hours a day wasn’t enough… Kayleigh has decided it’s also a great time to voluntarily THROW HERSELF OUT OF A PLANE at 10,000 feet! 😂

In fairness, this is something she’s wanted to do for around 20 YEARS, and it’s all for an absolutely amazing cause. ❤️

Kayleigh will be taking the leap alongside her sister Sam, local MP Shaun Davies and some other fabulous people, raising money for the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal and the new cancer centre at PRH.

She’s SO close to her £450 fundraising target, so we’re making one last plea to our wonderful Brick & Beyond community! 🥹❤️

If you can spare even £1 or £2, every single donation adds up and will help support something incredibly important for our local community.

Please sponsor our slightly bonkers boss before she has time to reconsider leaving a perfectly good aircraft at 10,000 feet! 😂🪂

Every tub now needs checking, sorting and putting back into our Brick Library ready for tomorrow’s builders.

Seeing this pile makes all the hard work worth it. Thank you to every single person who’s come to build with us. ❤️

💙 SEN Sessions are back! 🧱

After so many of you asked, we're delighted to announce that our SEN Sessions are returning at our new home in Ironbridge!

📅 Starting Tuesday 21st July
🕒 Every Tuesday | 3:00pm – 6:00pm

These sessions are designed to provide a calmer, quieter environment where children, adults and families can relax, build and enjoy everything Brick & Beyond has to offer at their own pace.

To help keep the atmosphere calm and enjoyable for everyone, spaces will be intentionally limited for each session. This allows us to create the relaxed environment these sessions are all about, so we recommend booking in advance.

Whether you'd like to build, enjoy a drink and cake, or simply spend time in a welcoming, understanding environment, we'd love to welcome you.

At Brick & Beyond, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can feel comfortable, accepted and free to be themselves. ❤️
