What a fabulous evening we had last night, welcoming the fantastic Black Bess Border morris dancers! 💃

A huge thank you to the dancers for bringing so much energy, entertainment and fun to the pub. It was wonderful to see so many of our customers enjoying the performance – and even better to see a few of you getting up to join in!

Reading Group – Sunday 5th July 📚

Looking for a relaxed Sunday evening? Why not join us this Sunday for our next Reading Group?

Our previous sessions have been a great success, with friendly conversations, plenty of laughter and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

There's no set book and no pressure to prepare – just bring yourself and chat about what you're reading, books you love, or anything that sparks an interesting discussion. Whether you're an avid reader or simply curious, everyone is welcome.

We want to let you know that we will be finishing our takeaway fish and chips offering tomorrow (Friday 3rd July).

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us while we’ve been offering this, we’ve really appreciated it. Please be assured that you can still enjoy our delicious fish & chips when dining in with us as usual.

We initially introduced takeaway fish & chips in response to demand, but now that our local fish and chip shop is reopening, it feels like the right time for us to step away from this service. We wish them all the very best and encourage you all to support them.

Our catch of the day is always one of our most popular dishes on the menu, and last week's special certainly didn't disappoint!

Featuring two beautifully prepared fillets of John Dory, served with lemon-buttered courgetti, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and king prawns.🦐

As our catch of the day is sourced fresh from Brixham Fish Market, our fish specials change regularly depending on what's landed and is available that day.

☀️ It’s the weekend, the forecast is looking good, and once again due to demand we’ll have fresh lobster back on the menu! 🦞

We’ll be serving our classic Lobster Mornay served with crispy fries and a fresh side salad.
