Dalavich Shop, Post Office and Wild Rowan Café are located in the heart of Dalavich, Argyll on the stunning shores of Loch Awe. The licenced shop supplies all of your basic grocery and personal needs as well as local crafts, gifts and art work. We also sell Hotlogs and Firelighters making sure your hot tub and cabin are cosy for your whole holiday. The Café serves great home made cakes, breakfasts, lunches, fresh sourdough Pizza in the evenings along with Scottish Ice Creams and great Espresso Coffee, local beers and wine! - If you are in the area please stop in, you wont regret it! We cater for vegan and gluten free! Sunday music session weekly also - all welcome to join in.

This coming Monday 6th July the kitchen will be closed for hot food although toasties and sandwiches will still be available as an alternative. Shop, Coffee and cake as usual 9 to 5pm. Kitchen back to normal Thursday as usual.

We are looking for staff for the busy summer season July until the end of October. Opportunity for occasional shifts in the winter. Preferably looking for someone to help in the kitchen to prepare/cook a basic menu and one or two people out front who can serve, make coffee, clean and be customer friendly. You will need to open or close shop and cafe occasionally and must be able to be left alone in quiet times when ready. Under 18s welcome for occasionally lunch time short shifts. Shifts vary and can be last minute. Open 9-5pm.

We pay above minimum wage depending on age and a meal/drink is provided on shift. No accommodation provided so ideally someone nearby or willing to commute.

This coming Tuesday 30th June our coffee machine will be out of action from around 2pm. It is having it's annual MOT. Usual service otherwise and the machine will be back up and running Wednesday morning.

Just so everyone is aware the kitchen will be closed for hot food this Sunday from 12pm and the whole day Monday. Shop cake and coffee available from 9 to 5pm as usual however...
