APOLOGIES- we will be closed today MONDAY the 29th. After sweltering temperatures and a crazy weekend, and wiped out staff we are in need of a day to catch up with ourselves. All back to normal tomorrow from 10am (Tuesday 30th)

With this glorious weather 🌞why not treat yourself, it’s cream tea week so we have Goats cheese, Feta, wild garlic and sunblush tomato scones as well as your classic cream tea. Or try one of our new strawberry chocolate tarts 😋 Smoked Chicken and heritage tomato salad, Sourdough with fresh crab 🦀 individual quiches and more. We are open from 10am Monday to Saturday and also on Sunday 28th this week.

With the weather due to improve why not sit in the sunshine 🌞 and enjoy some tasty treats , from Feta, sunblush tomatoe and wild garlic scones( a firm favourite) Pink Victoria Sandwich, Coffee and Biscoff cake, Banoffee Pie, individual Quiches, Brixham Crab topped sourdough to a classic Cream Tea, and much more,all available to enjoy on one of our outside tables or to take away . We are open from 10am Monday to Saturday and will be open on Sunday the 28th for the final day of Cream Tea Week 😋🌞

Please back your favourite small independent businesses, help your high street and support local jobs? Then sign our petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.
Our cafes, restaurants, pubs, hotels, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities.
They bring people together and bring life to our towns, cities and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.
In the UK, we pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.
