We are looking to recruit a cleaner to help maintain the high standards set at Roundwood Function and Conference Centre and Roundwood Dell campsite. The role will include cleaning of the bar and function room on a daily basis as well as the campsite toilet and shower block.

Due to the seasonal nature of the campsite and bookings in the function room a degree of flexibility will be needed to increase hours according to need.

Watch the mystery unfold delivered by a team of actors as you 'dell-ve' into a 'dell-icious' afternoon tea served by the new catering team in the cafe. We can cater for all dietary requirements as long as you let us know at the time of booking.

Camping enthusiasts can choose to camp at Roundwood to get a fuller experience. On-site campers do get a discount on this event. However, you don’t have to be a camper to enjoy the murder mystery. You can just come along for the afternoon.

Campsite Assistant Manager Role – Seasonal Position with a possibility of a permanent role
We are looking for an assistant manager to help with the smooth running of the campsite throughout the summer.
The role will include:
• Managing bookings via our online booking system and Pitchup
• Dealing with enquiries via phone and email
• Checking in/out guests
• Carrying out minor maintenance work on the campsite
• Checking pitches between guests
• Cleaning of communal areas when required
• Selling items from our small shop and ordering stock
• Some bar/café work
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
• Enjoys working and taking on new challenges
• Works well as part of a team but is also happy to work independently
• Gets on well with others and enjoys talking to people
• Is not afraid to use their initiative but knows when to ask for help
• Enjoys being outdoors whatever the weather
• Has a full driving licence (to be able to drive our gator vehicle around the campsite)
• Is over 18 years (to be able to serve behind the bar)
The days of work will mainly be Friday afternoons/weekends and bank holidays. With the possibility of additional hours during the week in school holidays.
Rate of pay dependent on age and experience. Uniform provided. Company pension scheme for eligible employees

Looking forward to serving our ‘Dell-icious’ afternoon tea at this event

Calling all campers, murder mystery fans or better still...a combination of the two!

On Saturday 10 June 2023, we are partnering with Yellow Mysteries Entertainment to bring to you an exclusive murder mystery plot for Roundwood Dell campsite. You will be able to interrogate the suspects, listen to clues and solve a murder whilst enjoying a 'dell-icious' afternoon tea served in our cafe. This event is open to both campers staying with us for the weekend and people who just want to attend the event (12:15pm-2:45pm)

Come and spend the weekend Roundwood Dell Campsite, Norwich and join us on Saturday afternoon for this event that we anticipate will be popular with both campers and people from the local area.

Priced at £35 per person for murder mystery afternoon with live actors and afternoon tea. Suitable for children aged 12 and over.

For Roundwood's Crafty Café on Tuesday we will have our new Bottomless Drinks deal. £3 for bottomless tea or filter coffee (includes decaff and fruit teas) during our craft session each week from 10:30am to 1230.

Or for £5 you can have a slice of our homemade cake too! Just come to the bar to get your mug!

We'll have our usual selection of Bakewell, Brownies (gluten free), Spiced Apple cake, Croissants, Sausage Rolls etc, and also our New Banana Choc Bread - this is gluten free, nut free, dairy free and vegan, so no allergens!! (This is also available toasted and drizzled with honey, sprinkled with almonds as a delicious breakfast or brunch!!)

As always, everyone is very welcome, bring along your table top craft project and join us, no charge for the session, just treat yourself to something from the bar.😀

We are looking to recruit a small number of cleaners to join our friendly team.

Daily cleaning of 2-3 hours is required 7 days a week. Tasks will include hoovering, mopping, dusting, and the cleaning of surfaces and toilets. The hours need to be completed before opening (8:30am) or after closing (9:30pm-1am depending on functions). During the winter, these will mainly be in and around the conference centre. In the summer, there will be additional hours across the site available as the campsite opens.

We are looking for individuals with an eye for detail and who take pride in their work. Experience is desirable but not essential. We require a degree of flexibility around hours and days worked to cover additional functions and staff holidays.

As employees of the company, you will be entitled to paid annual leave, uniform and have access to a company pension scheme.

Looking to try something new in 2023 with the family?

Why not come along and try out our new family event. On the last Sunday in each month we are opening up the venue to families to enjoy a 2-course Sunday roast followed by the opportunity to come and try out bowls. It's a game suitable for all ages and you will be guided by a team of coaches and volunteers to help you begin to master the basics.

Our delicious roast will be served at 12:30 with a choice of chicken, pork or nut roast (V, Ve) available. Then choose from either our home-made brownie (GF) or Bakewell Tart served with either ice-cream or custard. Ice-cream sundaes (Vegan option available) are an alternative or cheese and biscuits if you prefer. We can cater for all dietary requirements so please inform us of these at the time of booking.

At 2pm we will invite you down onto the indoor rink and after a short introduction to the game it will be over to you. A series of games and activities will be available for you and the family to test out your developing skills.

There is limited availability due to rink space so pre-booking is essential. Groups of 4-8 people can be accommodated and a deposit of £40 per group is required to secure the booking. Food choices will need to be made at the time of booking and please inform us of any dietary requirements. Bookings can be made by completing the online form
