The wait is over – we’re delighted to welcome everyone back to The Rocking Horse! 🎉

We’ll be open tomorrow from 9:30am until 5:00pm, serving all your favourites, so come and say hello!

☀️ Important Update from The Rocking Horse Café ☀️

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close the café on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th.

Following the flooding we experienced on Monday evening, we need time to carry out essential cleaning and restoration work. Combined with the current extreme temperatures, we feel it is the right decision for the welfare and safety of our staff, customers, and four-legged friends.

As a dog-friendly café, we would also like to kindly ask owners to leave their dogs at home in the coolest environment possible during this heatwave. We love welcoming your furry companions, but their wellbeing must come first.

We apologise for any disappointment this may cause and thank you for your understanding and support.

We plan to reopen as normal on Saturday 27th and look forward to welcoming you back.

If you would like to book a table for Saturday, please send us a message or leave a voicemail, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

🌡️After yesterday’s extreme heat and the very warm conditions continuing today, we’ve made the decision to close slightly earlier than usual at 3pm.

We want to say a huge thank you to our incredible team, who have worked tremendously hard to get everything open and running today despite the challenging conditions. Their dedication and effort have been amazing.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff will always come first, and with the forecast temperatures remaining high, we have also made the decision to remain closed on Thursday.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please stay safe, keep hydrated, and look after yourselves in the heat.
