And, more importantly… how much trouble would we get into if we just renamed one ourselves? 😂

❤️🍻 NOW THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL LOYALTY! 🍻❤️

We honestly don’t quite know what to say… Patrick & Angie have only gone and had the Ship Aground logo TATTOOED! 😲⚓️❤️

These two have been coming to the Ship Aground for over 50 YEARS, and to know that this little pub means so much to them that they wanted to carry our logo with them forever is something really special.

A pub is so much more than four walls, a bar and a few pints. It’s the people, the friendships, the stories, the laughs and the memories made over the years — and Patrick & Angie are now a very much part of the history and family of the Ship Aground. ❤️

We’re genuinely overwhelmed and incredibly touched by this. 50+ years of supporting the pub… and now the ultimate show of loyalty! 😂🍺

Patrick & Angie — thank you for all the years, all the memories and for loving the Ship Aground as much as we do.

You’re officially part of the furniture now… and there’s definitely no changing pubs after getting that tattoo! 😂😂

💔 Rest in Peace, Dolly Parton 💔

We’re incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of the one and only Dolly Parton, aged 80. A true legend whose music, warmth, humour and kindness touched generations around the world.
Tonight at the Ship Aground, we’re raising a glass and paying our own little tribute to the Queen of Country. 🤠🎶❤️

Her songs have filled pubs, parties, dancefloors and hearts for decades — and they’ll continue to do so for many, many years to come.

Here’s our tribute to an absolute legend. 🌹
Thank you for the music, Dolly.
Rest easy, Dolly. You’ll always be loved. ❤️🎶
