£7,045 was sent to Mikeysline today. The £1,505 that’s in the go fund me, will be sent at the end of the month I believe. Again well done everyone!!

Now that I have recovered from the weekend, I have a few thank yous to share.

This year was a bit different from last year’s Mikeysline event. I thought it was important to mention that last year we had large donations from big companies such as EUROPLAN and G.F Job which I was extremely grateful for, that brought last year’s total to £6,123.84.
This year however, no big companies were involved. So please take a moment to reflect on how much money was raised this year…..£8,535

I would like to say a special thank you to Tommy for getting the Josh Rock signed T shirt for auction which raised £300. Thank you to Tommy, Cheryl, Tony and Helen for traveling up from England for this Mikeysline weekend.

Thank you to my team for everything you have done over the last few months. This year, there was much more to organize and a lot more work was needed, and I very much appreciate it all!

I would like to give my daughter Sophie a mention as she still thinks she failed the walk. As you all know, Kelsey, Sophie and I walked from the kessock bridge to the star inn which was 32.49 miles. Sophie got to the Shandwick Inn, after she was forced to get into the bus and rejoined the walk at Asda although she was still very sore and limping. Sophie, who’s 14years old, walked a total of 27.6 miles. Absolutely amazing, I’m so proud 🥹

Massive thank you to Kelsey for being apart of that stupid idea 😂 and thank you to Billy for driving along side us all day.
