🌶️ TOMORROW: Old Town Street Food Festival! 🌶️

Calling all foodies! We are bringing the HEAT to Old Town for tomorrow’s Street Food Festival! 🔥 We’ve cooked up an incredible menu of Indian and Pakistani-inspired street food, starting from 12 PM until we sell out (and trust us, we will!). Join us at The Hop Inn for a taste of the subcontinent right here in Swindon.

We will be serving:
🔥 Lamb Chapli (Spicy Peshawari patties served in fresh roti with vibrant salad)
🍗 Chicken Chaap (Tender, slow-cooked Bengali-style chicken, wrapped in soft chapati)

Afternoon

This Saturday I’ll be heading over to Swindon and Reading. Swindon is well known for its railway heritage and the historic Great Western Railway Works, while Reading is famous for its rich history, the Abbey founded by Henry I, and the annual Reading Festival.

I’ll be visiting a variety of micropubs, pubs and breweries throughout the day, taking in some of the best both towns have to offer.

If I’m planning to pop in and visit you, I’d really appreciate a share of this post — and if you see me out and about, feel free to come and say hello!

We are hosting a whole week of Swindon Old Town Comedy Festival shows at The Hop Inn from Monday 8th of June to Sunday 14th of June! 🎤🔥

We have stars of Live at The Apollo, Taskmaster, Mock The Week and online comedy superstars performing during what promises to be a huge week for the Swindon Comedy Scene! 🙌

We’re firing up the smoker and launching a brand-new menu offering! We have extremely limited quantities available for this test run, so get them while they last.

We’re serving up our house-smoked favorites:

1/2 Chicken
1/2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs
Beef Brisket

Enjoy them solo or level up your plate by adding a side of our house-smoked pulled pork!

All served with house fries, mac n’ cheese, slaw & dill pickles.

This is a limited trial for this weekend, but if you love it as much as we do, we’ll bring it back for good based on the demand!
