We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the JP Studios Dance World Cup fundraiser evening here at Fabio’s, and honestly, che serata! What a night.

A full house of 71 wonderful guests, great energy all around, laughter flowing, plates coming out hot and fresh, just how we like it. And the best part? Together, an incredible £1440 was raised 👏

We’ve received such kind words from Vanessa and the JP Studios team, and we just want to say grazie mille. It truly means a lot to us. Supporting young talent, families and our local community, that’s what it’s all about.

To all the dancers and their families heading to represent Team England, we’re right behind you. Forza! 🇬🇧🇮🇹

And of course, a big shout to our amazing Fabio’s team. Long night, busy service, but smiles all the way through. You lot don’t mess about 👌

School holidays are still going strong, and if we’re honest, last week’s weather didn’t exactly help, did it 😅

A bit of rain here, some wind there, grey skies, proper British spring behaviour.

But, things are finally looking up 👀
This week’s shaping up to be a lot better, a bit warmer, a bit brighter, and dare we say it, Wednesday looking properly warm ☀️ bella giornata loading 🇮🇹

Which honestly makes everything feel a little easier.
The kids are out, the days feel longer, and suddenly everyone’s in a better mood.

Well… today in Swindon we had a bit of everything 😅
Sunshine ☀️… rain 🌧️… hail ❄️… and a proper chill in the air.

Quattro stagioni in one day!

But one thing that doesn’t change… is good food. Sempre buono 🇮🇹

So… who fancies something a little special this evening?

🐟 HALIBUT CARTOCCIO – £28
Fresh halibut, sealed and cooked al cartoccio (in foil), with:
🍅 Cherry tomatoes
🧄 Garlic
🍤 Peeled prawns

Spring has officially arrived… and for once, the weather in Swindon is actually behaving itself 😄

Today is the Spring Equinox. It’s the day when daylight and night-time are almost the same length. After today, we get more daylight in the evenings… which, let’s be honest, everyone has been waiting for.

And you can feel it already. The last few days have been bright, sunny, and surprisingly warm. Not bad at all.

A little fact for you…
The word “equinox” comes from Latin. It simply means “equal night”. Nice and simple, just like a good Italian meal done properly.

Now, looking ahead to tomorrow… it’s set to stay mild and bright here in Swindon. So yes, another good excuse to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air while it lasts.

After the cold wind and rain this week, it feels like spring has finally arrived. Bella giornata! 🇮🇹

And with Mother’s Day tomorrow, it’s the perfect time to treat Mum to something special.

Now… we should mention something.

We won’t be doing traditional roast dinners tomorrow.

But instead… we’ll be serving some seriously good cuts of meat like this one 👇

🐖 Crispy Pork Belly – £22
A large portion of juicy pork belly with proper crispy crackling, finished in a rich red wine & rosemary sauce.

Honestly… this one has been making people very happy this week.

And if Mum prefers steak, we’ve got some beautiful options tomorrow too:

🥩 Fillet of Beef (8oz) – a premium, lean, tender and buttery

🥩 Sirloin of Beef (10oz) – £24 – a popular, high-quality, and flavourful cut of beef taken from the loin area, offering a balance of tenderness and moderate fat content
