Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful Babs 💙

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came together to give her the send-off she truly deserved.

From everyone who came to see Babs final journey through Rodbourne to those who joined us afterwards at the pub to raise a glass, share stories, laugh, cry and remember the amazing person she was — it was incredibly special to see just how loved she was.

There were so many memories shared, so many familiar faces and, exactly as Babs would have wanted, plenty of laughter amongst the tears. 💙

If you didn’t get a chance to sign Babs’ memory book yesterday, it will be here at the pub until Monday morning. Please feel free to pop in and leave a message, memory or story.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Babs’ final farewell one worthy of her.

What a woman. What a friend. What a send-off. 💙

Today we say a heartbreaking goodbye to our Babs Ellison still hasn’t sunk in!!

Babs will be making her final journey through Rodbourne and past her much loved local around 13:10. Would love to see her friends lining up outside before following and say goodbye at Kingsdown crematorium at 13:30

💙 CAR PARK NOTICE – TUESDAY 💙

We have a small favour to ask ahead of Babs’ funeral on Tuesday.

If you currently have a vehicle parked in the pub car park, could you please arrange to move it before Tuesday if possible.

We’re expecting lots of Babs’ family and friends to join us to say goodbye, and we’d like to make sure as many parking spaces as possible are available for them.

We would really appreciate everyone’s help with this.
