🏕️ As Brecon Beacons Touring Park SA9 1YY is closing on 12th October for it’s winter break, and as we have an amazing relationship with them, we’re opening up our car park for motorhomes and camper vans that only take up one standard car park space. We have an additional two spaces for vans up to 8m long. But these must be booked in advance. Sorry, no caravans as they will take up more than one space. 🏕️

We’re a very busy pub, especially on weekends, so we have to leave space for cars.

🏆 Last year, we were Welsh Pub of the year and runner up this year. 🏆

We charge £15 per night. Maximum stay is two nights and offer no facilities apart from fresh water. Toilets are available in the pub from around 10am.

The £15 is redeemable against food or drink bought in the pub. So, technically your stay could be FREE if you eat or drink with us.

👮‍♂️ All we ask is that you take your own rubbish away with you and you’re respectful to others staying over. We also have full CCTV of our car park for additional protection. 👮‍♂️

We have twelve real hand pulls (up to six real ales and six real ciders), ten keg lines, all our food is locally sourced farm to fork, a huge log burner, very dog friendly and the best locals a pub could wish for. You may even hear some singing Welsh songs on Friday’s and Saturday’s.

We’re also in the Camra Good B**r Guide.

🍺 On tap: Wrexham L***r, Modello, San Miguel, Jubel Peach L***r, Camden Off Menu IPA, Juicy Fresh Pale Ale, Thatchers Gold, Glamorgan Berries & Cherries C***r, Westons Vintage C***r and Guinness.

Please book in advance by calling 01639 730273 after 11am. We’ll ask for your full name, registration number, contact details and number of nights stay. Payment will be taken at time of booking.

Made plans for Sunday lunch yet?

It’s miserable outside. Why not come on over and enjoy our genuine farm to fork & legendary Sunday roast.

We source our meat from a local butcher who sources direct from local farms. So, our meat is not just butchered in Wales (so called Welsh), it’s been born and bred in Wales too.

This week our meat comes from

🐄 Talybont Farm, Talybont-on-Usk 🐄
🐷 Bwlch y Trawspen, Builth Wells 🐷
🦃 Woolston Farm, Owestry 🦃

🌰 We also have a cranberry, mushroom, chestnut & pumpkin seed roast (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan). Have to say, Emma has this most Sunday’s at it’s delicious 🌰

Can’t get in or not up for a roast dinner? Don’t forget Little Briton is open too. With genuine Welsh hand smashed beef burgers, pulled chicken burgers (plus vegan/vegetarian) alternatives and of course our authentic Greek gyros. Little Briton closes her hatch for the final time this year on the last weekend of September.

☀️🌧️ Better late then never, a quick post about the amazing bands this August bank holiday 🌧️☀️

What a weekend we all had. Weeks of sun then in typical British style rain on bank holiday. Did that stop us? No chance! We all had a blast. Thank you to the amazing Soulskunks, Tomos Lewis and No Chains.

Sadly, we were unable to take video of No Chains so please do share if you have any.....

Good old British bull dog spirit isn’t going to stop us.

If it’s raining we can seat up to 120 undercover but it was forecast to rain yesterday and the band played in sunshine ☀️

Come rain or hopefully some shine we’ve got it covered. We can seat up to 120 in the Pabell so if it rains you’ll be under shelter.
