It’s almost that time of year. Why not come and enjoy Christmas in the castle this December.

Daily lunch bookings taken (bookings a must)
Private evening bookings also taken.
Christmas favourites on our specials board throughout and of course our winter warmers will return.

We're back online
✨ We're pleased to let you know that our internet connection has now been restored, meaning we can once again accept card payments in Durlston Castle and the Seventhwave café, and our phones and emails are back up and running as normal. ✨

Unfortunately, we are without internet at the park, meaning we are cash only in the Castle and Restaurant.

This also means we are without phones, we apologise for anyone trying to get hold of us at this time.

We'd like to thank people who have visited today and yesterday for their patience while we resolve the matter. We are hoping to be back up and running as soon as possible, however will update if this is not the case.

Please note our car park machines are still taking cash and card.

Once restored, we will be trying to catch up on emails and calls we have missed, so will be back in contact as soon as we can.

You never know what you might see ...
As I stopped at the bottom of the gully by Tilly Whim to look at a Lulworth Skipper butterfly, a puffing noise, a bit like a scuba diver, made me turn, to look out to sea, and there the dark grey dorsal fins of a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins were visible, fairly close in.
At least 7 of these superb mammals, their fins rising and falling as they made their way slowly along the coast to the east, then a couple of tail slaps of the water before they all disappeared. After a few minutes the Bottlenose Dolphins reappeared further out, having changed direction – a few more breaths and fin sightings and then nothing!
You can always just sit in the cafe garden (with tea and cake) and hope!

Please note if visiting Durlston Country Park we will be running a limited food service all day today due to a fault on our gas safety box - This means we have no access to fryers or ovens so please bare with us and our team today whilst we await a repair team.

Food service times will remain the same but options will be limited.

Thank you for everyone's patience when we have shut early this month and end of last for wedding.

What beautiful evenings they were too! I totally forgot to photo the food 🤦‍♀️ but here's the set up and a gorgeous shot of sparklers on the terrace.

Tomorrow afternoon/evening (Saturday 13th)we will be hosting a wedding in the restaurant and so will be closing early to sit ins from 4pm. Takeaways to be consumed off the restaurant facilities will be available until 5pm

- LIMITED MENU -
Please note if visiting Durlston Country Park and ourselves today it is likely we will be running a limited menu throughout the day due to our gas system running a fault overnight and being inspected currently.

There is cake coffee, sandwiches, paninis and other light lunches ands breakfast items available.

What a fabulous early May bank holiday we had. We also catered an intimate wedding in the Belvedere on Saturday followed by an intimate private dinner on our restaurant terrace on the Sunday evening. A busy weekend but one filled with lovely food and people.

We had the fabulous The Purbeck C***r Company team in yesterday to celebrate 5 years of Ross the drayman. Such a lovely surprise to be apart of 🥰
