🍎🍐 LOCAL, FRESH & IN SEASON! 🌱

One of the questions we get asked most often is: “Is everything at the fruit & veg stall locally grown?”

The honest answer? No — not everything! Not everything grows here in the UK, but whenever we can get it locally, we absolutely do! 💚

And right now we’ve got a lovely selection coming straight from local farms: apples( gala, cox, russet, bramley) from Elwell Fruit Farm, pears, chard, colourful cauliflowers from Isle of Wight watercress, corn on the cob, pumpkins, potatoes, some tomatoes, cabbages and runner beans. 🍎🍐🥬🌽🎃🥔🍅

So if you love knowing where your food comes from, come and have a look at what’s local this week! 🌱

At The Old Stables, we often get asked if we serve 'normal breakfasts.' Our answer is no?
Unless you consider a healthy, light start to your day, free from deep oil or frying, to be normal!
We focus on fresh, wholesome options to properly fuel your morning.❤️

☕ WANTED: A LEGENDARY BARISTA ☕
We're searching for someone who can:

Make coffee so good people "accidentally" come back every day.
Tell a cappuccino from a flat white without asking the customer.
Spot the little details that turn a good coffee into a great one.
Be genuinely nice to customers (yes, even before they've had their coffee).
Understand that mugs don't wash themselves, milk doesn't wipe itself up, and coffee grounds definitely don't walk to the bin on their own.
If you believe cleaning up after yourself is part of the job—not a personality trait of your teammates—we're already off to a great start.

A sense of humour is a bonus. A love of coffee is essential. A positive attitude and good work ethic are non-negotiable.
