FAQ How many servings do I need?

One of the most common questions I get asked is how many servings you actually need for your wedding cake, and the answer largely depends on when you plan to serve it

If you're planning to cut your cake in the evening, I generally recommend catering for around 80% of your guests, as it's unlikely everyone will want a slice

But there's another option I'd really encourage you to consider…

“Our world fell apart overnight, and our family has been separated ever since. My daughters are having to stay with their grandparents right now. It still doesn’t feel real.”

10 month old baby Reuben, from Norfolk, urgently needs your help. His parents have received the heartbreaking news that he has acute myeloid leukaemia, and needs a stem cell transplant to survive.

“Reuben had been unwell for a few days, we initially thought he was teething. We never thought it would be anything like leukaemia, it blindsided us. He’s just a baby.”

Reuben’s two sisters, aged 8 and 4, are unfortunately not a match for Reuben, meaning his family are now relying on finding a match from the stem cell register.

“We feel terrible that his sisters are being tested to see if they’re a match for Roo, they’re so little. I am so scared that he might not find a match easily or quickly enough.”

The family are working with Anthony Nolan to encourage young people to join the stem cell register to help save the lives of people like Reuben.

“We want to make something positive come from our situation by calling on people to join the register, for our little Roo and for anyone else in need.”
