QUARTER-FINALS… HERE WE COME! 🦁🏆
Some nights are about football. Others become memories that stay with you forever. Last night was one of those nights. ❤️
England are through to the quarter-finals after an extraordinary 3-2 victory over Mexico! 🏴
To go to one of the toughest stadiums in the world football, at altitude, and achieve what England did by ending Mexico’s decades-long unbeaten run at the Azteca was simply incredible. It was a performance built on belief, courage and heart — and as supporters, we couldn’t be prouder.
But while the result on the pitch was unforgettable, the atmosphere at the Foley Arms was something truly special.
From the very first whistle to the final celebrations, the pub was filled with passion, pride and togetherness. Seeing so many England shirts, hearing the singing, the cheers and the roar of every goal reminded us why football means so much. For a few hours, we weren’t just watching a match — we were sharing a moment that we’ll all remember for years to come.
To every single person who chose to spend their evening with us, thank you. Your support, your energy and your passion created an atmosphere that was nothing short of magical.
And finally, to our incredible team — thank you. While everyone else was celebrating, you were working tirelessly behind the scenes, giving everything you had from the first pint to the early hours of the morning. Your hard work, dedication and commitment never go unnoticed, and we couldn’t be prouder to have such an amazing team representing the Foley Arms.
Football has a special way of bringing people together, and last night was a perfect example of that.
