❤️ THE END OF AN ERA, SHEEPFOLDS TRADE COUNTER ❤️
After more than 32 years, the doors of our Sheepfolds Trade Counter will close for the final time this Friday 25th September.
Since opening in August 1994, Sheepfolds has been more than just a trade counter. It has been a place where customers have walked through the doors for their supplies, a cuppa, a chat, a bit of advice and, over the years, plenty of laughs and memories.
So many people have been part of its story, customers, suppliers, friends and, of course, the amazing staff who have kept it going through the years.
It also feels impossible to say goodbye to Sheepfolds without mentioning Baz ❤️. He was such a huge part of the business and of the people who made these places what they are. There will undoubtedly be moments this week when we look around and think of him, remember something he said or did, and smile. His presence will always be part of the history of Sheepfolds and the business he cared so much about.
Although the Sheepfolds chapter is coming to an end, the business isn’t going anywhere.
From Wednesday, the trade counter team will be based at our Leechmere branch, until the new Roker Avenue branch opens next year.
We’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to every customer who has supported Sheepfolds over the past 32 years. Whether you’ve been coming in since the beginning or only discovered us recently, we truly appreciate every visit, every order and every conversation.
And finally, from Mark and all the staff, thank you to everyone who has made Sheepfolds such a special part of our working lives. ❤️
Sheepfolds may be closing its doors, but the memories will stay with us.
