To everyone that has supported me and the business.

I am absolutely gutted to be writing this. The Calabash Tree has closed its doors with immediate effect.

A number of factors are behind this decision, but to everyone who supported us — whether you came once, brought your family, celebrated with us, or made us part of your routine… thank you. Truly. You helped build something we are incredibly proud of.

As one door closes, another opens. We are already making plans on something new!

What a week!!! I honestly cannot thank you all enough for the best wishes and support!

is something that I’ve followed for years and been inspired by so many chefs and dishes. To have the opportunity to represent the North East and Yorkshire was something I couldn’t quite believe was happening.

The talent in the kitchen was incredible! It was also great to work with and alongside , and !!

I owe a lot of thanks to some amazing local producers and talent who helped me along the way:

The time spent chatting with Paul Ainsworth was a good boost after being so gutted! I made some mistakes that may haunt me forever 😂

you, along with the whole team, were absolutely brilliant and looked after me and my dodgy feet!!
