The new dog wash just opened on the seafront car park Marine Walk. It's brilliant. I managed to wash both my cockerspaniels in one go. Nice clean car for the journey home after the pooches have played on the beach. Great idea.

Official Opening at Roker Beach! Come and join us on Saturday 11 till 1 for free Dog washes. The unit is just next to Sue's Cafe at Marine Walk. Hope to see you there 🐶😍

Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday.

This will allow individuals, businesses and other organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign.

We will therefore be closed Monday 19 to pay our respects for the grace, dignity and dedication to which Her Majesty carried out her duty. 👑❤️

God save the Queen, long live the King.
