I’m genuinely a little bit heartbroken that one of our favourites in Sunderland has closed its doors today. 💔
This wasn’t just somewhere we went for food. It’s somewhere we’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, had after-school meals, date days and nights and made so many memories together as a family.
But the biggest one for us will always be the most magical Santa experience we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. 🎅✨ Honestly, it became one of those proper core memories that I don’t think any of us will ever forget.
My school friend Chris, who I went all the way through school with, was head chef here too — forever educating me with good food, getting me to try things I’d never normally order and usually being right when he told me I’d love something 😂❤️ absolutley incredible chef 👏
And of course Lynsey, who we absolutely adore. We met through your business but you became one of those people in our lives we would do anything for. Someone who reached out on multiple occasions when we were going through tough times, someone who even when there was nothing in it for her was messaging to see how she could help or would just share things to help out. These are things we will never forget as a family ❤️
Thank you so much to every single person involved for all of the memories you’ve given us over the years. We’re genuinely gutted to hear the news today.
Wishing the team, Chris, Ruby and of course Lynsey nothing but the very best for whatever comes next. ❤️
Sunderland has lost somewhere really special today.
