We've heard there is a rumour going around that we are closed next week.

We would just like to confirm that we are OPEN AS NORMAL EVERY DAY Monday-Sunday 8.30am-4pm

We have no plans to close, sell up or amend our opening hours - unless it is to extend them even further, which is something we are looking at.

Please don't believe anything you read or hear in that respect, unless it is posted directly by our business page. We will always update any new developments on our social media and posters within the shop.

Unfortunately, some individuals and businesses can use pretty devious tactics to try and put other businesses down. We believe in collaboration over competition every time. Basing your success on the failure of others is not something we want to be involved in or support, and we never will.

We plan to be here for you all for the foreseeable future, we aren't going anywhere. It has been our greatest pleasure to serve our customers and the local community over the last 6 years.

We are seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to join our team, to assist with daily operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly over 7 days between the hours of 9am and 6pm, have a strong background in hospitality, food hygiene and staff management with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Direct experience of working in a cafe or ice cream parlour is essential.

*Duties*

- Supervise and coordinate staff during shifts, including assisting with training of new staff members

- Assist with all day to day operations including food preparation and ensure quality standards are met

- Manage stock and accept deliveries

- Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the floor area and food prep areas

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

- Keyholder with opening and closing responsibility

*Skills*

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry

- Proficiency in food preparation and hygiene techniques

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are essential

Job Types: Full-time/Part-time, Temp to Perm contract

Estimated hours: 20-30 per week
