Front of House Manager – Assington Barn Café

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Manager to lead and run our front-of-house team at Assington Barn Café.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older

Previous front-of-house management or supervisory experience essential

Must be able to provide a reference from a previous employer

Available to work both weekdays and weekends

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to lead a team and maintain high standards during busy service periods

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, motivated, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.

We asked our chef/owner what this week’s special should be called… and he simply said, “Bob😬🤣”

☀️ Slight change to our roast menu tomorrow due to the heat! ☀️

We’ll still be serving our delicious roast beef and chicken roast, but we’re also adding some lighter summer specials to the menu including:

🥩 Lamb steak
🥗 Feta salad
🍔 Burger
🐷 Pork slider

…alongside our usual day-to-day menu!

We’re open tomorrow from 10am–4pm 🌿

And of course, bring your pup along if you like — we’ll have plenty of fresh water waiting for them too 🐶

If you want to catch the last of the beautiful bluebells, why not head out for a walk and then join us for breakfast or lunch?

With the sun shining, it’s the perfect time to relax in our outdoor garden. Enjoy a freshly made jacket potato or sandwich in the sunshine, or tuck into one of our all-day breakfasts — we’re open from 9am!

Join us this Sunday for our delicious Sunday Roasts, served from 12–3pm 🍽️

Availability:
You must be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays, however it won’t necessarily be both days every weekend as shifts will be worked on a rota basis.

🧼 Washing up
😊 General front of house
