🍓 A little personal note from me…🍓

Just a little update to let you know that The Strawberry Teapot will be closed this Friday as I will be at hospital for the day.

As many of our regular customers know, I’ve been unwell for some time and am still having ongoing hospital treatment. As it’s just myself and Phoebe running the tearoom, there are unfortunately occasions when hospital appointments and treatment mean we have to close for the day.

I’ve never really spoken about it on here before, as I don’t want to make a big thing of being unwell — but I also wanted to explain why you may occasionally see us closed on days you would normally expect us to be open.

We’re a very small family-run tearoom, and sometimes my health has to come first. ❤️

Thank you, as always, for your patience, understanding and continued support. It genuinely means so much to both of us.

We’ll be back open as usual on Saturday and look forward to seeing you then. 🫖🍓

🍓A Little Price Update 🍓

We just wanted to give you a little heads-up that, unfortunately, some of our prices will be increasing slightly.

Like so many small businesses, we’ve seen the cost of ingredients, supplies and running the tearoom continue to rise. We’ve held our prices for as long as we possibly could, but we’ve had to make a few small changes to make sure we can continue doing what we love.

We’ve tried really hard to keep the increases as small as possible, and we’ll always continue to offer good-sized portions, homemade treats and the same friendly, vintage tearoom experience you know and love.

We’re so grateful for every single person who chooses to visit us, grab a takeaway, book an afternoon tea or order one of our cakes. Your support really does mean the world to our little tearoom.

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support our small business.

Outside Catering & Celebration Cakes ✨

We’ve been a little busy behind the scenes recently catering for some lovely celebrations! 🥰

🕷️ For a Spider-Man themed party, we put together both a children’s and adults’ grazing table, along with two personalised celebration cakes to match the theme.

🎂 We’ve also been busy making another three celebration cakes, each personalised for their own special occasions.

Whether it’s a birthday party, family celebration or private event, we can help with grazing tables, party food, outside catering and personalised celebration cakes — all made to suit your occasion. ❤️
