The Golden Fleece, a freehouse steeped in Stroud's heritage, is a popular destination for real ale connoisseurs and is renowned for it's gourmet bar snacks, including some of the finest, home-made burgers Stroud can offer. Reopened in August 2015, the Golden Fleece is freshly renovated, in-keeping with the style of the 18th Century building. In the winter months, our log burger provides warmth and

ambiance to our wood panelled front bar. In warmer weather, our beer garden is a hidden gem of Stroud and can be quite a sun trap. Known to some as "The Jazz Bar", through the years The Golden Fleece has acquired reputation for music of eclectic style and origin. We continue this trend to this day with regular live music nights.
