The committee were smiling as they finally sat down.

The windows were dressed and the posters displayed,
The planning complete and arrangements all made.

Some snuggled in bed for a well-deserved rest,
While others shared one final pint with the rest.

With a cheer and a high-five, they called it a night,
Knowing tomorrow the town would shine bright.

Shoutout to Bayleaf Delicatessen who are one of our Wednesday night music extravaganza sponsors.

Gavin and Lauren at The Bayleaf have been supporters of Shopping Week for a long time, and their generous donation allows us to bring in some top quality musicians.

There’s a couple of bands coming along on Wednesday night, and with a bit of luck and plenty of dancing shoes, we might manage to get a Strip the Willow going!
