Slapton Line closed from Strete Gate corner to Torcross. Storm Ingrid has left absolute carnage but it's walkable by parking either end. Car Park and Cafe at Strete Gate open today. Business as usual at as well. Thoughts and best wishes to the residents and businesses affected.
Please!!! We need action to protect our beautiful Slapton Line and to continue access for communities, businesses, emergency services and visitors before it's too late.

It's all going on at Strete Gate today. Unexploded ordnance managed by the amazing local Coastguard and a film crew who obviously loved the look of our beautiful beach....feel sorry for the actor who's stripped off for the scene. Poor sod!!
