Originally built in 1920 and opening in 1921 as a Theatre House, the property has always been an entertainment venue for the residents of Street and the surrounding areas. The Loft which remains at the heart of the Street community, is a family friendly dining and party destination offering good food to all palettes and budgets. The venue is available for private hire early in the week and welcomes customers for dinner and celebrations from Wednesday through to Saturday. A full range of menus are on offer and can be tailor made to suit any event from a light finger buffet to a five-course banquet. Whatever your looking for, there will be something to suit . The Loft can cater for many events from corporate events, wedding receptions, birthday parties, product launches to proms & charity events. Mark, the owner is very keen to support local community groups and local charities through the venue. On a Saturday night after dinner, The Loft transitions gently into a late lounge party venue with music and dancing, offering those that have dined in the venue to remain and enjoy until late into the night with a door fee applied after 9.30pm for those wishing to come along later. Incorporated within the Loft is Marion’s Bar. Nestled upstairs towards the back of the balcony, Marion’s Bar will open in early 2022. It will offer an exclusive cocktail menu bringing back many classics of the art deco era, when the building first opened.
