We will be moving all our counters, units etc out of the shop round to our new space. Its a great wee space that you can really make your own and would be great for a range of things etc💞

Cakes and Shakes is now on its 7th year of business., However with a heavy heart, our lovely little cake shop in the common green will be up for rent

We are not closing…

We will be moving round to 40 waterside street, ML10 6AW. It is just round the corner, but this makes it so much easier for me to operate with my own kitchen as more space. We will continue with selling cakes on the counter, coffees, shakes and doing our bespoke cakes from our new premises. We hope to be able to welcome our regular faces round in this space aswell as hopefully many new faces🥰

This was far from an easy decision. It’s become increasingly more difficult to stay on top of both shops and with the costs of everything rising. It is getting harder and harder to run a small business. Strathaven is so lucky to be filled with so many lovely small businesses and I hope whoever moves into this little shop gets all the love and support we were so greatful to have. Please continue to support Small businesses you love in your area as it is becoming increasingly more difficult to keep going. I hope you can all continue to support us, just from round the corner. Bittersweet end of an era🥺 keep an eye on here for more updates 💞

Fresh fruit cake slices, stuffed cookies, brownies and lots more to choose from💞

We have also been experimenting with some coffee specials including cold foam👀
