There is a wonderful story behind some of the w**es served at The Great Drawing Room. Villa Saletta, the Hand's family estate in the Tuscan hills, has a w**emaking heritage stretching back centuries. Today, its w**es form part of our carefully selected collection at Ettington Park.

In our 2 AA Rosette restaurant, the kitchen celebrates seasonal British ingredients through dishes such as goat's cheese mousse with beetroot, apple and house honey, alongside West Country beef fillet with tenderstem broccoli, potato purée and a rich red w**e jus.

The setting is just as special, with the Great Drawing Room's ornate ceiling, historic paintings and tall sash windows overlooking our Warwickshire grounds.

Almost a thousand years of history, and still so much to discover.

Surrounded by 40 acres of Warwickshire countryside, Ettington Park has a story that stretches back to the Domesday Book and the Shirley family, whose generations helped shape the remarkable house and grounds we know today.

Much of the mansion's Neo-Gothic character dates to its 19th-century transformation, when architect John Prichard introduced the pointed turrets, elaborate stonework and tall chimneys that distinguish the building today. Look closely at the exterior and you'll find carved panels depicting moments from the Shirley family's history.

Beyond the house, mature woodland, gardens and the River Stour offer plenty of opportunities to explore, making Ettington Park as much about its setting as its extraordinary architecture.
