At Fed Up, we’re proud to offer a complete food support service designed to ensure nobody in our community goes hungry or feels alone. Here is a quick reminder of the 4 key ways we can support you:

📦 Emergency Food Parcels
For anyone facing an immediate food crisis, we provide a 3-day emergency food package packed with essential nutrients and ingredients to keep you going.

🛒 Community Larder
Shop smart and stretch your budget! For just £5, you can choose 20 items directly from our online shop. It’s an easy, affordable way to top up your cupboards with the food you love.

🚚 Mobile Meals
Struggling to get out and about? Let us bring hot, nutritious food straight to your doorstep with our dedicated meal delivery service tailored for those who find it difficult to leave home.

☕ Free Café Service
Join us at our community café! Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty free breakfast or a delicious, free 3-course lunch, everyone is welcome—no questions asked. Come for the food, stay for the friendly chat!

MASSIVE THANKS

Thanks to Tesco and everyone who donates to the Tesco food collection point here in Stranraer.

All the food goes to the Stranraer Foodbank in partnership with Trussell Trust to help anyone needing a crisis food parcel.

Our foodbank completes our full food support service, which includes foodbank, community larder, free cafe service and mobile meals.

Please let anyone know about our service that needs extra support.

Come join us at the Fed Up Community Cafe this Saturday from 6.00pm for our fundraiser bingo night.

Entry is £10 including bingo tickets and refreshments. We will also be running a raffle with great prizes donated from our local community.

Here to help: Understanding our two food support services 🍎

At The Fed Up Community Cafe, we are committed to supporting our community with dignity and choice. We know there is often confusion between our services, so we wanted to break down how we can help and the important mission we are working toward.

We are proud to partner with the Trussell Trust, working together toward a future where no one needs a food bank to survive. To help shift the focus from emergency dependency to sustainable community support, we offer two distinct services:

1. Emergency Foodbank Provision
What it is: A 3-day emergency food supply designed for those in immediate crisis.

How to access: This service is referral-only. If you are in urgent need, please reach out to one of our local supporting agencies who can issue a referral on your behalf.

2. Community Larder
What it is: A sustainable, choice-based way to shop. You can select 20 items through our easy-to-use online system for a flat contribution of just £5.

Why the difference?
By offering the Community Larder alongside our emergency provision, we are actively working to reduce the need for traditional food banks. Our goal, aligned with the Trussell Trust’s vision, is to build a community where food support is accessible, dignified, and helps prevent long-term crisis.

HELP WITH CARRIER BAGS

We would love a little help from our amazing community.

To pack our emergency food parcels, we need carrier bags and are running short of them.

If anyone has any spare bags that they could drop in to the cafe, we would really appreciate it.
