We are dog-friendly, and you can visit our café without having to buy a ticket to Helmingham Hall's gardens. Cowshed to cafe - Born in March 2019, Nourish cafe is an established cafe & deli situated in the heart of the beautiful renowned growers village of Newbourne, Suffolk. The delicious, wholesome menu is created using fresh local produce & some which we have grown ourselves too! Our focus is to love all, serve all, we serve a variety of gluten free and plant based dishes too, there really is something for everyone. Our speciality coffee is sourced from a family run sustainable Farm in Brazil. We are very planet conscious & both dog & pony friendly. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Nourish Café at Helmingham Hall is looking for evening staff to join us for the Illuminated Garden Trail this winter.

🗓 12 November - 19 December
🕓 Shifts: approx. 4pm - 9/9.30pm

You’ll be part of our team serving visitors during one of the most atmospheric events of the year, working in a lively evening setting within the Estate's grounds.

We’re also looking for temporary daytime staff in September (Sunday - Thursday) for additional support ahead of the event period.

If you’re reliable, friendly and enjoy working in a busy café environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Heading to Music in the Gardens at Helmingham Hall on Sunday 21st June? 🎶

We're looking forward to welcoming lots of visitors to Nourish throughout the day.

As a gentle reminder, we kindly ask guests not to bring food and drink purchased elsewhere into the Nourish courtyard or café. As an independent business, food and drink sales help us to continue providing the freshly prepared dishes, cakes and drinks that our customers enjoy.

If you'd like to eat while you're here, we'd be delighted to serve you from our deli counter, and we'll have plenty of refreshments available throughout the event.

Thank you for your understanding and support – it really does make a difference to small businesses like ours. 💚

We're open Sunday to Thursday from 10am–5pm.

Breakfast served from 10am–2pm
(No lunch service)

🥪 Monday to Thursday
Kitchen open from 10am–2.30pm

After the kitchen closes, we're still serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, and food from our deli counter until last orders at 4.30pm.

Event days at Helmingham Hall:
On ticketed event days, Nourish is open exclusively to guests attending the event. On these days, we serve a selection of food and drinks from our deli counter only.

Bringing your four-legged friend along? 🐾

We're pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs on leads both inside Nourish and in our courtyard, so there's no need to leave your canine companion at home.

With the warmer weather upon us, we'd recommend choosing a table inside the Coach House if you're visiting with your dog. The building stays wonderfully cool and airy throughout the day, making it a more comfortable spot for both dogs and their humans when the sun is shining.

Whether you're stopping by for coffee and cake, a leisurely lunch or a deli counter treat, we look forward to welcoming the whole family – paws included. 💚

Please remember that all dogs must remain on a lead during their visit.

The humble sausage roll... but make it Nourish. 💚

Whether you're a traditionalist or looking for a plant-based option, we've got something waiting for you on our deli counter.

Our pork sausage rolls are packed with flavour and wrapped in golden, flaky pastry. Our vegan sweet potato and chickpea rolls are equally delicious, with a gently spiced filling that has won over many meat-eaters too.

Perfect alongside a fresh salad, a bowl of soup or just enjoyed with a coffee in the courtyard.

As with many of our deli counter favourites, they don't tend to hang around for long, so arrive early if you'd like first pick!

Nourish is looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

📍 Helmingham Estate, Suffolk
⏰ Full-time or part-time hours available

This is a hands-on role supporting our kitchen team, including:

• Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
• Assisting with general kitchen duties as required

We're looking for someone who is hardworking, dependable and enjoys working as part of a busy team. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.

We're open Sunday to Thursday, serving up freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes, speciality coffee and all your favourite deli counter treats.

If you've been thinking about visiting, we'd love to welcome you to Nourish and the courtyard at Helmingham Hall Gardens for a relaxed catch-up, a bite to eat or a well-earned coffee and cake.

Our most popular bakes and deli counter favourites do tend to disappear as the day goes on, so we'd recommend arriving earlier if you have your heart set on a particular treat!

Life can be a lot sometimes. When we're caring for everyone else, juggling work, family and endless to-do lists, self-care is often the first thing to slip down the priority list.

This week, I took some time to pause and nourish myself with a facial from the wonderful Skin by Leanne Moss – and what a reminder it was that looking after ourselves isn't a luxury.

Using Prologic skincare, the treatment focused on feeding the skin with ingredients that support its health, including vitamins, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, peptides and skin-identical lipids.

At Nourish, we're passionate about nourishing wellbeing in all its forms. Whether that's sharing a wholesome meal, enjoying a coffee in the courtyard, spending time in nature, or taking an hour out for yourself when life feels overwhelming, small acts of care can make a big difference.
