🎉 🦞Happy 6th Anniversary to The Quayside Restaurant! 🦀 🎉

Today we’re celebrating six amazing years of The Quayside Restaurant.

It’s certainly been the hardest six years of our lives, filled with incredible highs, challenging lows, plenty of laughter, and more than a few tears. Through it all, we’ve kept going—and that’s all thanks to the amazing people around us.

To our wonderful customers, thank you for your loyalty, kindness, and continued support. To our fantastic suppliers—Harvey’s, Knightwicks, and Bewdley Farm Shop—thank you for always being there for us. And to our incredible team, past and present, your hard work, dedication, and passion have helped make The Quayside what it is today. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together over the last six years, and we’re excited for everything that’s still to come.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to making many more memories together. Cheers to the next chapter!

It is with heavy hearts and immense pride that we announce the departure of our son, Josh.

Josh has been part of the business in one capacity or another since day one. For the past three years, he has worked in the kitchen alongside Scott.

During this time, he excelled and discovered his true passion. Last year, he began studying at catering college in Birmingham, where he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

His passion has always been for modern cuisine. To further develop his skills, he completed work experience at 1 x Michelin Adam’s in Birmingham and then at 2 x Michelin Opheem, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience from two of the city’s finest restaurants.

Following this, Josh was offered an apprenticeship and has now begun his career with them. We couldn’t be prouder of everything he has achieved and are excited to see what the future holds for him.

While we will miss having him as part of our team, we know he is following his dream, and we wish him every success in this exciting new chapter.

☀️ What a week of hot weather! ☀️

Despite the heat, it’s been business as usual here at The Quayside. With fresh fish deliveries and fresh stock arriving daily, we’ve been serving up a menu perfect for the sunshine.

Our cold seafood platters have been especially popular and have been flying out of the kitchen! 🦐 🍋

A huge thank you to all our customers for your support and understanding throughout the week. We really appreciate it and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

As a special treat for Zoe’s birthday, Scott booked a few days away in beautiful Porthleven, Cornwall. 🎉🎂

What a fantastic day we had! A huge thank you to our fish supplier, Julian, and William Harvey for inviting us to the fabulous Old Coastguard restaurant in Mousehole. 🎣 🦐 🦀

We also enjoyed a tour around Newlyn Harbour and had the opportunity to meet some of the William Harvey fishermen. As you can see from the photos, the main catch of the day was octopus! 🐙

A truly memorable experience, great company, and a wonderful day all round.
