Fancy a friendly chat at the end of the week? Talkin’ Tables is back this Friday, 25 September, with a warm and welcoming drop-in at Screamin’ Beans.

It’s free to attend, there’s no booking required, and you’re very welcome to come along on your own. Pull up a chair, meet some friendly people and enjoy an easy bit of conversation in good company.

Every Friday from 10:30am, Screamin’ Beans hosts our weekly Talkin’ Tables.

Officially, it’s 10:30–11:30am.

Unofficially… well, some people are still here hours later. We’re beginning to suspect they’ve moved in. 😂☕️

So, what is Talkin’ Tables?

It’s a simple idea with a lovely purpose: bringing people together.

Pull up a chair, grab a coffee and have a chat. Meet someone new, have a laugh, put the world to rights, or just sit and listen until you feel comfortable joining in.

💙 Coming on your own? Absolutely fine.
💙 Feeling a little shy? Don’t worry.
💙 Never been before? You’ll be made very welcome.
💙 All ages are welcome.

There’s no awkward “introduce yourself to the group” moment and no pressure to be the life and soul of the table. Our Talkin’ Tables crowd really are a friendly bunch, and there’ll be someone there to welcome you.

Loneliness doesn’t always look like being alone. Sometimes you simply fancy a bit more company and conversation in your week.
