The start of the school term has arrived!

After a summer of welcoming lots of new visitors to the cafe, there’s something rather comforting to see all the familiar faces back in the cafe 🥰

It’s been a busy start to the morning, but everyone has now been supplied with their back to school essentials from the shop, and social (& where necessary; caffeine) fix in the cafe.

For term time we will be open as follows;

The start of term is tomorrow, so the cafe has had a little bit of tlc in preparation - the jet wash has been out, and a delivery of beautiful new plants. The shop is stocked up with all those Back To School essentials, as well as fresh milk, bread, eggs, fruit and veg.

Hope you’ve all stayed safe with the awful fire around us. I’m Boo, I work in the cafe and am the person doing most of the social media posts. I’ve been away on my family holiday so have only heard about the fires second hand. On a personal note, and as someone who doesn’t live very close, my heart goes out to everyone affected. I’ve been worried about some of our regulars, particularly the more senior people, some of who live very close to where the fire was.

As well as Wednesday, we are going to open on Thursday this week (10-3.30), so I hope to see some of our friendly locals when I’m there - and if not I think it’ll be a day for a house call or two.

Please pop in and see us if you can, let us know if there’s anyone we need to be reaching out to, and let people know we are here if you think they might like to see a friendly face and a coffee ♥️
