Last week, our team got first dibs on the new menu.

Obviously, we couldn’t just let them try it quietly like normal people.

So we split them into teams, handed them the food, and set them a challenge:

make the best content.

The team with the video that gets the most love, views, comments and general internet chaos wins a prize.

And we’re kicking things off with Soph, Elle and Morgan.

NEW MENU HAS LANDED 👀🔥

And we’re not being dramatic… but the kitchen has proper pulled it out the bag creating these.

Everything has been created by our team, made from scratch, and built with proper quality ingredients. No lazy shortcuts. Just big CnB energy on every plate.

We’re talking…
🍔 Cheeseburger Sausage Roll: Filled with our award-winning cheeseburger mix. Yes, really.
🍗 Nashville Hot Chicken Donuts: Homemade mini donuts, N’duja hot honey, buttermilk fried chicken, pickles, ranch and Nashville hot oil.
🔥 Beef Guinness Croquettes: Pulled brisket, caramelised onions, Guinness glaze, Guinness gravy and crispy onions.
🌶 666 Hell & Back: Nashville hot chicken, crunchy slaw, pickles, ranch… and our lethal 666 House of Pain injection.
🍛 Butter Chicken Burger: Butter curry, crispy lettuce, red onion, pickles, tzatziki, pickled chillies and roasted sesame.
🍔 Jalapeño Smash: Double jalapeño smashed patties, American cheese, onion and bacon jam, ranch.
🔥 Birria Beef Burger: Pulled birria beef, red onion, coriander, three-cheese skirt, pickled chillies, CnB burger sauce and birria gravy.

This menu is messy, bold and absolutely not here to behave.

We’ve only gone and done it again… 👀

Father’s Day falls on a Sunday this year.

Which means one thing:
🍔 Dads get a FREE burger
👶 Kids eat FREE too
with a paying adult.

So yes… Dad and the kids are basically eating for free.

We did it on Mother’s Day a few years back 🤦🏻‍♀️
We’ve somehow done it again.

Bring Dad. Bring the kids. Bring the paying adult who’s carrying the whole operation.

Yesterday we shared something pretty huge for us.

After six years, we finally paid off our Covid loan.

Honestly? Massive relief.

But the hard truth is… that’s only half the story.

Hospitality is still being squeezed from every direction. Food costs. Energy. Wages. Rent. VAT. The lot.

And all around us, pubs, cafés, restaurants, independents and even big chains are closing at an alarming rate. You probably know places you used to love that just aren’t there anymore.

That’s why we’re backing .

The campaign is calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10% because right now, the pressure on the industry is becoming impossible for too many places to carry.

And this isn’t just about businesses.

It’s about the team members who got their first job in hospitality.
The young people learning confidence, graft and people skills.
The guests who come in for company, comfort, food, celebration, or just somewhere to feel part of something.
The high streets that need places with lights on, doors open and people inside.

Once these places are gone, it’s too late.

We’ll always graft. We’ll always show up. We’ll always do everything we can to keep CnB full of food, drinks, noise and life.

But hospitality needs support.

Bit of a special one for us today.

Six years on… we’ve finally paid off our Covid loan.

That feels huge.

At the time, it was survival mode. Like so many hospitality businesses, we had to fight fire with fire, make big decisions, take on risk and hope we could find a way through.

That loan helped keep the doors open, protect jobs and gave us a fighting chance.

But it also sat there in the background for years as a constant reminder of what this industry went through.

To finally pay it off feels like a proper moment.

And we don’t say this lightly… we wouldn’t be here without you lot.
Every table booked, bottomless brunch, pint in the yard.
Every birthday, family meal, Sunday lunch, date night, private party and “just one drink” that absolutely wasn’t just one drink.

You helped us not just survive, but grow into something we’re genuinely proud of.
We’re proud of our team, guests and we’re proud to be part of this community.

Hospitality is still facing huge pressure, and there’s no pretending otherwise. But today, we’re taking a second to say thank you.

Six years later… we’re still here. Here’s to the next 6 years 🥂
