We have a couple more spaces left for Christmas market,

We are ideally looking for the following:

Local baker/sweet treats
Hand crafted cards/note pads that sort of area
Local honey/jam/chutney stall
Hampers/gift sets
Dog treats

We had a good turn out last year so we have our fingers crossed for the same this year, please message me if youre available or know of anyone that might be available

It's getting to the point in time to organise the dreaded Christmas time!

We will be holding another Christmas @ the coffee shop on saturday the 19th December.

Last year was truly amazing! - i will say at this point in time no reindeers will be joining us. Trust me, I would of had them back in a heart beat if we could make it work! However we do have another idea up our sleeves or in our stocking's 🤔🧦

So we are on the look out 👀 local small businesses to join us for some last minute shopping, cake baker etc.

Stall spaces are limited but I will always try and fit as many in as possible! - same rules apply, all stalls must have their own insurance and if selling food have a level 2 hygiene certificate.

We really hope we did bring some christmas joy last year and hoping to have another cheerful go at it this year 🎊

As you can tell im making the most of the quiet time in the holidays!

We are blessed that Halloween is on Saturday this year! We usually open up for a trick or treat pit stop in the evening but we're going to try a halloween market with some spooky treats

And we also have Waggy Trails Pet Pawtraits & Phodography confirmed for a halloween photo shoot as she unfortunately cant make our Christmas event 🥲

So if you'd like a stall space, please do message me! Usual rules insurance etc!

We're having a Kit Kat and taking a break 😅

We are now closed and we will be back open on Wednesday the 5th August 🎊

Thank you so much for all the support this year, im taking this time to get organised for the dreaded Christmas time and plan if we're going to do any events etc.

I also have a mound of personal and shop admin I need to catch up on 🤦‍♀️

Jack's also away living his best life in his second home of Sweden and Norway with his pal's playing with cars, fast ones im told. Im also told this is strictly work and not a boys holiday 🤷‍♀️😅.

We are having a bit of down time to get prepared and rested for what the rest of this year will bring us!

So no matter what you're doing if its staying in costa del stotfold, camping or jet setting away in the holidays enjoy your holibob's and we'll see you when youre back!

Im sorry for this rant first of all, maybe its the heat and being tired.

I am sick to death of the planters at shop being used as rubbish bins, ash trays, seats or even a bed.

Yet again last night a group of lads thought it would be great to lay in the planters completely squishing plants that were holding on in this weather.

Finds we've had in the planters, lots of domino's sauces, chicken wing bones, wooden forks, beer cans, fag butts and lip glosses. You name it weve probably had something.

When I see people using them as bins I go out and ask why theyve done it when a bin is about 10 metres away. With the lip gloss incident I was basically told I was seeing things whilst I had gone and pulled it out. Followed by standing and making comments that they cant put litter in the planters because its illegal. Yes littering is illegal.

Accidents do happen, and I fully understand that. We had another incident of school children messing around, and completely took out a massive snap dragon plant. The person in question was messing about and got pushed into the plants and then proceeded to rip out said plants when they got up and for good measure ripped more plants out with their bag as they snatched it out.

We have spent so much personal time and money building the planters and getting plants for them to get disrespected is quite frankly getting on my nerves.

We also had plenty of hurdles to jump over by having the planters to stop cars parking up here to make if safe, this isnt something that just benefited my customers. This is something that made walking along the shops safer for everyone.

We have so many people that enjoy looking at the plants including the little ones! And ive got some not so secret helpers that walk past and help with the dead heading.

I will be ordering signage for the planters and some anti climb paint, so at best at least it'll ruin people's clothes.

This saturday one of my customers has organised a pop up market.

This is to raise funds for the Garden House Hospice in memory of Jeffery who sadly lost his battle.

Jeffery was the most lovely character and didn't let his disability define him! Jeffery played for Middlesex and England cricket disability teams and also helped coach children's teams.

He will truly be missed in the community and his neighbours.

Hi everyone!

I hope we all managed to finally get some sleep last night!

Unfortunately tomorrow we will be closed as billy ( as pictured ) had a nasty abcess a few weeks ago which is still causing him trouble. He has now earned himself a full lameness assessment from the vets to see what's going on

So we will be back on Wednesday!

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is surviving the heat 🤞

This week we're going to be changing the opening times to hopefully accommodate to the heat and for me to be able to go and give the horses a nice cold hose off 🤞

As of Tuesday till thursday we will be open from 7am - 1pm and then back open from 3.30pm - 5.00pm

Friday 8am - 2.30pm

On Saturday we will open 8am - 1pm.

We have lot's of ice for those cold drinks and the ice cream machine is ready for action 🌞

My friends truck was stolen last night and were trying to make it too hot to handle.
